Exactly as described. One person found this helpful. I got this book nearly 15 years ago in it PDF form. It changed me and equipped me with a new mindset that helped me not just in dating but in day to day conversation as well.
People who think this is written by sad people and are wrong; that is an incorrect accusation. It tells truth that people do not want to agree on. And only by seeing truth will people know how to properly do thing right. Such as how to best communicate, what you are offering to a potential partner, how you should be independently mature, and what kind of partner you want to seek.
I have to say, I completely disagree with the other reviewer. I think Carlos has presented very clearly and effectively the dynamics of dating - which, as we all know, are very, very tricky. I didn't take his book as a 'how to' on seduction. Rather, I think it's better described as a collection of principles that Carlos believes will help make dating easier and more effective. It's really helped me in the couple months since I've read it. I find talking to women I don't know much easier, I've had a few good dates, and I can tell I'm getting better at doing the things you need to do attract women.
I've read a couple other books on "seducing women" and I found them completely disgusting. One was a book on NLP that was ineffective for me and kind of immoral. Another I read was about very specific techniques to try out on women. They probably work for some, but frankly, I found them too hard to remember. I don't like having to remember very specific questions and lines.
And there was also an underlying negative sentiment towards women in these other books. The difference between Carlos' book to me anyways is that a it's not sleazy and b it's not about techniques, but principles. The basic premise being "get your life together, improve who you are, and people will naturally become attracted to you. Yet effective. As for the reviewer saying that Carlos brags about his success with women, I disagree. There are a few mentions that he's been successful, but nothing over the top.
Of course he could be lying, but so could anyone who writes any book about anything. The point is, try it out for yourself. If it works, use it. If not, drop it. Now a few criticisms: I do feel that for the length of the book or ebook, in my case I felt the price is a little steep.
However, on the flip side, if you sign up for his free newsletter you get tons of well articulated tips several times a week. And that's all free. Yes, he's trying to sell you on his other products, but he's giving you great information in the mean time. My other minor criticism is that the book could have used an editor. It's very conversational, which means it's a quick read. It also means it's not the most eloquent at all times.
Even though I admit there are a few shortcomings, as I've mentioned, I've found the information very empowering and that is worth a lot. No, I don't work for Carlos or get anything from him because of this review. I probably would never have posted if there were some other positive reviews. I just thought another opinion would be helpful to everyone. This book was great and changed me in unexpected ways.
